Second chances chapter 4 (toshiro x reader)

You stared at him. Wide-eyed. How could he do this? Tears forming in your eyes. "Toshiro! This isn't you!" You said holding his shoulders. You loved the man infront of you. You were only together for a couple of days. "This is a practical joke isn't it?!" You yelled clinging into a little piece of hope you had. You were crying now. It started raining. 'Perfect timing' you sarcastically said in your head. He held onto your wrists, tearing them away from his shoulders. "This is all true." He calmly said with a cold expression.

You pound your fists into his chest and cry. That's what your always best at. Crying. You slapped him. Hard. He could've easily dodged it but he didn't. He deserved it. He did nothing but hurt you. Ichigo came out and looked to the roof seeing you there. "OI! TOSHIRO! (Y/n)! it's Raining come inside!"

You immediately ran away. Wiping your tears.

Ichigo's POV

Wait, what just happened between these two? Toshiro scowling, and (y/n) crying? For sure he did something

Normal POV

As soon as Toshiro went down from the roof Ichigo yelled at him "WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO?!" "I did what I had to do." Toshiro calmly said while going inside. "What?!" Ichigo said confused. "Mind your own business Kurosaki. Respect your superiors. I'm a captain. Your just a substitute shinigami." Toshiro coldly said. Ichigo just scowled and ran after you.

Kurosaki residence

You shakily knocked at the door. You were freezing. Yuzu opened the door and said "(y/n)-nee! What happened?! Wait here, I'll get a towel." She said running off. You could here here footsteps coming towards the house and saw a flash of orange. As if on cue Yuzu came with a towel. You said your thanks and dashed to your room.

You locked your door and cried. The pain never leaves. It keeps coming back. The next day you didn't bother to go to school since you know HE wouldn't be there. "OI (y/n)! It's 7! We should start going to school!" Ichigo said behind the door. "GO AWAY! I'm not going to school. I don't feel so good." You just replied weakly. "Okay. I'll go now. Make sure dad checks on you." He said. "Hai hai."

You ended up having a fever and not going to school for a week. On the next Monday you persuaded your uncle in letting you go. You were kinda better, and didn't want to miss any lessons. Surprisingly he said yes. You still had fever but it was going down.

Ichigo was walking ahead with his sisters and you were lagging behind. Looking at the ground spacing out. Little did you know you were walking in the middle of the road. "MOVE!" You heard a voice say. You looked to the direction of the voice and

Ichigo looked back and saw a group of people crowding around something and a car. Red liquid was spreading like a wild fire in the group. Blood. "KARIN! YUZU! Go call dad! I think someone's hurt." He said. Immediately the sisters ran. He went to the scene. And saw something he couldn't believe.

It was you, on the ground with a seemingly lifeless body. He rushed to your side and carefully placed your head on his lap. (He is sitting Japanese squat thing. Where the person is like sitting on the back of his shins.. If you get it.) "(y/n)..... Don't go.. Stay... Stay with us.." Ichigo kept chanting as warm tears slid down his face.

Your POV. (I'll use 'I' so like this is what your thinking)

I can hear him. I just can't speak or move. Ichigo!! I-I don't want to leave..

"(Y/N)-NEE!!!"

Yuzu.... Karin....

I don't want to leave you yet.

I can't see but I can feel cool liquid falling to my face. Are they crying?

Normal POV

The Kurosaki family was just staring at your limp body as you rested and slept at their little clinic.

"Tou-san... Is she going to be okay?" Yuzu asks.

"Of course she will! She's (full name)! She is a survivor!" Karin declares. "Right dad?"

"I honestly don't know..." The elder finally said..

"I think we should transfer her to Ishida's hospital." Ichigo said.

"Why?" Isshin said.

"Because they have more equipment. There's a better chance that she'll be alive there." Ichigo explained.

Ichigo called the hospital and you were transfered an hour later.

Right now, you were hooked to a heart monitor, and an oxygen tank. Orihime, Sado, and Ishida came.

"Kurosaki-Kun!" Orihime tearfully said. "What happened?" She was crying now and ichigo was trying to sooth her.. "She was in a car accident..." He sighed "it's fatal."

Suddenly a long beep was heard from the heart monitor...
